Our step by step guide on finding the perfect flooring
Whether you’re building or renovating, there are a lot of decisions that need to be made, and this includes choosing your new flooring. It’s important to us that you absolutely love your new flooring, and we are committed to making that process easier for you. That’s why we have taken some of the stress away and created this step-by-step guide on finding the perfect flooring. No matter your style or budget, we have the ideal floor you have been searching for.
Call or visit our showroom
Give us a call or come in and say hello at our centrally located showroom in Bundall on the Gold Coast. We offer an extensive collection of carpet and flooring options for every project. Let our experienced flooring consultants guide you through the selection process and assist you in choosing your new flooring. To ensure we have what you’re looking for, we highly recommend bringing your floor plans and any design style ideas when you visit.
- What fibre/type of flooring are you interested in?
- What colour palette are you working with, are there any existing furnishings?
- When do you need the flooring to be complete?
Take samples home
We highly recommend you take some of our samples home. Taking the samples gives you a better representation of how the colours will look in your desired space. We suggest taking a couple of different shades as often the colours can look darker or lighter than you expect, depending on the light of your room.
- If you have a smaller room, we recommend selecting a lighter colour as this will give the illusion of a bigger space.
- We suggest looking at the colour samples in a variety of different lighting including both natural & artificial.
- We suggest not looking at the carpet samples side by side or overlapping one another. This can cause the carpet samples to take on other shades and undertones.
Book a measure and quote
With our personalised approach, our measures are quick and convenient, and the best part, we come to you. Our precision is second to none, as our installers strategically measure the space and consider the most aesthetically pleasing option for how the floor can be laid. While on site we will conduct an inspection of your floors and quote accordingly. Don’t forget to let us know your favourite flooring options so we can provide a free detailed quote outlining the project’s inclusions. If you have visited our showroom you can bring your samples home and we will collect our samples when we come to measure your space.

Schedule your installation
Congratulations, you have selected your chosen flooring and are ready to schedule your installation. Your 50% deposit to initiate the order has been paid, and your new flooring is leaving the manufacturer’s warehouse ready to be cut to size for your individual rooms.
- We recommend that the painting of your walls is complete and dry before installing your new carpet.
- Did you arrange for us to move your furniture at an additional cost? If so, please ensure all of your personal items are removed and kept aside safely. i.e. electrical cords, books, etc
- It’s important that your skirting boards and trims have been decided before installation is complete.
It’s installation time
It’s time for your brand new flooring to be installed. The day before installation you have spoken to one of our friendly consultants and settled your account prior to installation day.
Today is the day your new flooring is going to be installed. If you have selected for your furniture to be moved you can sit back and relax, and our expert installers have prepared your floor and are ready to install your brand new carpet or hard flooring.
- If you chose wool carpet, keep in mind this may shed over the next couple of weeks so vacuum regularly. Please ensure you have checked the appropriate care instructions for your selected wool carpet as some vacuums may not be suitable.
- Ensure the space is well ventilated for the next couple days.
